Tips to Get through this Monsoon, with your Skin & Hair Healthy

The Monsoons refreshes and energizes us after the scorching heat of the summers. However, this season also brings infections that need to be avoided with better body and health care. 1.  Cleanse your skin regularly:

Once you exfoliate well, cleanse the open pores and allow your skin to breathe. You can use coconut oil, tea tree oil, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera, honey and lemon and rose water.

2. Do not forget Toning:

Everyone must tone their skin which gives a glow and also clears out the dirt and dust of the skin. You can opt for non-alcoholic variants or use home ingredients like green tea, lemon juice, rose water, cucumber water and chamomile tea that can help, even out the skin’s pH balance as well.

3. Moisturizing is your Pal:

After every wash, never forget to moisturize your skin with a good lotion. The rain water can dry up your skin real fast, stay healthy and fresh with hydrating mloisturizers.

4. Sunscreen 365 days is the Rule:

It may be cloudy or raining but that doesn’t stop the sun’s UV rays from damaging your skin. You should swear by Sunscreen for every day regardless of the weather.

5. Never leave your Hair tied when wet:

Getting drenched in rain and not untying your hair is a big NO NO. Keep your hair open, that disallows the water to seep into places and stay. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo with warm water to keep it healthy.

6. Wash your Hair more Regularly:

Washing your hair twice a week is normal, but during rainy season – one should wash their hair more often to avoid any impurities getting trapped on the scalp or strands. It is immensely necessary to keep the scalp clean and refreshing always.
