Intelligent Ageing follows a functional medicine approach. Under this, we work towards recognizing the root-cause of the disease, which most of the times is related to lifestyle choices. At Intelligent Ageing, we have Age Management Doctors and Lifestyle Coaches who can guide people with the latest anti-ageing sciences, and design for them a personalized program for maintaining their well-being.

The Approach

Intelligent Ageing employs a holistic approach that involves recognizing and tracking the root cause of the problem, advising best practices to the patient to reverse the effects of the cause, and educating patients about functional medicine as well as prescribing it.

The 3M process

At Intelligent Ageing, we follow a comprehensive 3M process to help our patients live and maintain a healthier life. This approach involves the 3 Ms of functional medicine – Measure, Mentor, and Monitor.

Measure

This step involves a comprehensive health assessment. Generally, a body composition analysis machine is taken into use to assess the conditions. This machine helps our doctors assess the degree of obesity; risk of diabetes; metabolic age; muscle, body, and fat mass; etc. If the patient is suffering from a particular problem, like cardiac issues, thyroid, or diabetes, initial tests are performed, based on the care required. Finally, the reports are checked and assessed, after which the patients receive counselling by experts of various therapies like yoga and functional medicine.

Mentor

This step focuses on advising the patient on best practices to follow for a healthy lifestyle. The first part of this step involves checking the patient’s medical history and family background, to try and figure out why the patient might be prone to a certain disease. This is followed by a counselling, after which a few tests and check-ups might be suggested. Depending on the findings, exercise regimes, food and nutrition, and functional medicines are prescribed to the ailing person, based on their individual requirements.

Monitor

The final part of Intelligent Ageing’s process involves keeping track of the patient’s health. Through a health app and anti-ageing software, the doctors and life coaches at Intelligent Ageing are able to track and monitor the patient’s health status. The app reflects real-time health information about the patient, which helps both the doctor and the patient build a therapeutic relationship, working towards optimum health.
